This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities of the position include picking, scanning, configuring and stacking product to outbound loads in addition to putting away and organize and replenish products as needed in the subzero freezer. All operators are required to conduct duties in a safe and effective manner. Lift Operators are responsible for maintaining a clean environment as per USDA regulations. Lift Operators will physically handle cases to load trailers, in addition to using PIT equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, rider jacks and pallet jacks. Team members must be familiar with company policies, procedures, TQC parameters, HACCP and GMP s and are required to perform all duties in accordance with company policy and established procedures. In the event of absence the next level down the organizational chart covers the next level up. Candidate has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety. Candidates are to adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
